Fresh speculations suggest that Samsung will begin the Android 6.0 update as early as next month. The first devices to obtain the new OS include the Galaxy Note 5, Note 4, Note Edge and Galaxy S6.
Sony Xperia Z5 and Z4 series are expected to obtain the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update next month. Other Sony smartphones and two of its tablets are also slated to receive the new operating system.
A new leak has surfaced online revealing the release schedule of Android 6.0 Marshmallow to Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note 5 handsets.
