The Huawei Honor 5X is expected to hit the U.S market on January 31 via Amazon and Newegg. This handset is confirmed to obtain the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update, although it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop as it comes of the box.

International Business Times reported that the Huawei Honor 5X which was launched in China October last year was showcased at the recently concluded Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2016 in Las Vegas.
Specifications wise, the Huawei Honor 5X features a 5.5-inch Full-HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels (401 ppi pixel density) and a fingerprint scanner. Under the chassis, it is engineered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocking at 1.5 GHz that is working hand-in-hand with Adreno 405 GPU. Honor 5X is also packed with a 16 GB internal memory that can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card.
As for its camera, it features a 13-MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 5-MP front snapper for selfies. All these are powered by a 3,000mAh capacity battery that is equipped with a Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
In China, the device is priced at CNY 999 for 2GB RAM variant and CNY 1,399 for the 3 GB RAM variant. But when it comes to its US price, VR-Zone stated that the Honor 5X is available for $199.99. It is currently obtainable through major online retailers such as Amazon and Newegg and the orders are expected to be shipped January 31 onwards.
