Deandre Wilkins, 35, has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and domestic assault, according to authorities.
Catton said the assault took "maybe 20 seconds" and has "completely altered and affected" her life.
On Sunday, the police department released the arresting officer's bodycam footage "in an effort to be transparent."
