Melbourne Renegades player, Chris Gayle, is currently in the process of filing a lawsuit against a certain Australian tabloid. according to the athlete, they falsely published a story about him performing inappropriate gestures in a dressing room at last year's game in Sydney, which involved a woman. The 36-year-old playing is filing for defamation.

The family of a slain man in 1974 filed a lawsuit against the government in Boston after claiming FBI agents had information of their loved ones body's whereabouts but failed to inform the family. Paul McGonagle Sr was killed by James "Whitey" Bulger in 1974, however. it wasn't until the year of 2000 that the victims family knew of his whereabouts. The federal judge dismissed the case of which the family where looking for almost $10million in compensation.

South Korean entertainment company, SM Entertainment confirmed their win on a case against former EXO member Tao. However, Tao's legal team also released their defense against the SM's allegations on the Chinese artist.
