CEO accused of fraud and his lawyer no longer protected by attorney-client privilege, rules judge
U.S. District Court Judge Jack Weinstein ruled that the sacred attorney-client privilege no longer applies to documents and other communications transacted between Martin Shkreli, a former pharmaceutical CEO, and his former attorney, Evan Greebel. Shrkeli is accused of seven counts of securties fraud and conspiracy, while Greebel is charged with wire fraud conspiracy.
