UK government blames ambulance-chasers for spurious claims against British troops who had served in Iraq
British Prime Minister David Cameron, Defence Minister Penny Mordaunt, and other government leaders have expressed concern over legal action taken by Public interests Lawyers headed by Leigh Day against UK troops who have served in Iraq. They say that the accusations made in behalf of supposedly abused iraqi civilians are unfounded and instigated by these ambulance-chasers.
