Three days after the NYC subway transit was closed due to damage by hurricane Sandy, the MTA has restored 14 of the city's 23 lines- but only partially.
After undergoing physical and mental evaluation, Jerry Sandusky, was transferred to a maximum-security prison located in South Pennsylvania to serve his sentencing for child sex abuse.
Hurricane Sandy has devastated many regions on the East Coast. The storm, which has been called the greatest storm on the East Coast, has caused power black outs in many areas, destroyed homes and lives as well as completely debilitated the New York City transit system.
President Barrack Obama visited the Red Cross and thanked the organization for its service during the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, which hit the East Coast over the weekendresident Obama said, "we want to thank them (Red Cross) for their outstanding work," as reported by NBC News.
