The convicted pedophile, Jerry Sandusky, former assistant football coach of Penn State University, is less than 24 hours away from his sentencing on Tuesday. He was convicted on 45 out 48 counts of child sex-abuse and molestation in May and currently remains in custody at the in Centre County prison.

The butler of Pope Benedict XVI, Paolo Gabriele was convicted for stealing Vatican documents and leaking it to the press on Saturday. A three-panel Vatican judge reached the decision, sentencing Gabriele to 18 months.Judge Guiseppe Dalla Torre read out the sentence, which was reduced from three years to 18-months. However according to the Associated Press the Pope is likely to grant him a Papal pardon for what AP calls the "gravest Vatican security breach."

San Francisco supervisor Scott Weiner is proposing a bill to ban public nudity in San Francisco. Weiner is scheduled to present the legislation on this Tuesday, October 9. According to the proposal, the legislation will fine $100 for the first offense, $200 for second if in a year-period. The third offense would be counted as a misdemeanor and receive a $500 fine. Children of the age five and under are exempted from this law.
