Jordan Van der Sloot, a Dutch man in jail for murdering Stephany Flores in 2010, says that his girlfriend his pregnant with his child. According to reports by the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, Sloot impregnated his girlfriend Leidi Figueroa Uceda on an unsupervised visit to see him in jail.

According to the report Uceda is in currently in her second trimester. She refused to have an abortion due to her strict catholic beliefs. The lawyer of Sloot Maximo Altez confirms that Uceda is indeed pregnant as reported by the Associated Press. Altez told the Dutch paper that "A test has proved" that Uceda is pregnant with Sloot's child. However, Altez clarified that no paternity test was conducted.

If the report is valid, then Sloot can resist extradition to the U.S. where he faces extortion charges because according to the Peruvian law, if a citizen of the country one fight extradition. Sloot can procure Peruvian citizenship if he fathers a Peruvian child. Uceda is a Peruvian citizen.

In 2010, Sloot was convicted of killing Stephany Flores after he met her in a casino called Lima, Peru. He was also convicted of robbing her and is currently serving a 28-year prison sentence.

According to a Huffington Post article, Sloot is a pathological liar. He has confessed on multiple occasions that he murdered Natalie Holloway and then retracted each confession. He is, however, wanted by the U.S. authorities for extorting the Holloway family.

Holloway made waves in the media when the 18-year-old was reported missing when she disappeared on a high-school graduation trip to Aruba. Sloot was the last person to have seen her alive. The body of Holloway has not yet been recovered.
