On Monday tech giants Apple Inc. and Samsung Electronics Co. head to court in San Francisco to settle patent issues relating to the their smartphones and tablets. The heated tussle between the two tech giants started last year when Apple filed lawsuit against the South Korean company, accusing it of plagiarizing designs of Apples’ popular iPhone and iPad. Apple is suing for $2.5 billion in damages.

In an interview with CBS's "Meet the Nation," President of Penn State University, Rodney Erickson said the university is adequately prepared financially to resolve the various lawsuits it faces (or will face) in light of the former football coach Jerry Sandusky's child sex-abuse scandal and the consequential cover-up revealed in the recently released Freeh Reports.

A recent survey conducted by Pew Research Center showed that only 31 percent of Americans are certain of President Obama's religious faith. The survey showed that after three and a half years of presidency 17 percent of the people still believe Obama to be of Islamic faith.
