The Italian gossip magazine “Chi” published the topless pictures of the Duchess of Cambridge, which were published last week by the French gossip magazine, “Closer.” The Italian magazine is owned by the same company which owns the French “closer,” Mondadori group, which is in turn owned by former Italian Prime Minister, Silvio Berlusconi. The pictures appeared in the Monday’s issue of “Chi”

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton has filed suit against the French gossip magazine, “Closer,” for publishing topless pictures of her. According to Radar Online, the royal palace released a legal statement as follows, “legal proceedings for breach of privacy have been commenced today in France" by the royal couple, which they described as “grotesque and totally unjustifiable.”

At a meeting on Friday, Karen Peetz, head of the Penn State University Board of Trustees urged her colleagues to accept PSU President Rodney Erickson’s decision to accept to pay the $60 million in penalties slapped on the institution by the NCAA in regards to the Jerry Sandusky child-sex abuse cover-up.
