After a record low on Thursday stocks of the major social networking site, Facebook, hit another low Friday. In the morning shares fell to $19.01, about 50 percent of its initial offering of $38 since it first when public on May 18.
On Thursday, Samsung made its closing arguments in a patent infringement lawsuit with Apple. Apple presented the court with a list of 22 more witness, Judge Lucy Koh, who is getting increasing frustrated by the finger-pointing ‘they copied me’ nature of the case, blurted out in court “ridiculous…Unless you're smoking crack, you know these witnesses aren't going to be called," as reported by Contra Costa Times.
On Tuesday, the Securities and Exchange Commissions (SEC) said that the fortune 500 company, Wells Fargo, would have to pay $6.5 million as penalty for failing to disclose risks on investments sold to non-profit organizations, municipalities and other customers.
On Friday, according to a “Forbes Richest Author List 2012,” the author who has become famous for his legal thrillers is labeled as the richest writer of the year, with a reported $94 million for 14 of his books published between 2011 and 2012.
