A Syosset man was charged with a 51-count grand jury indictment last Tuesday after ammunition, armor, and other weapons were found in his car after was pulled over by police officers last December 3. Mark Vicars could face 15 years in prison if convicted with serious charges, and he is set to appear in court again in February 8.
The former Major League Baseball player, Chad Curtis was given 45 days by Judge Amy McDowell to decide on whether to get re-sentencing for his case of criminal sexual conduct. Curtis said that he will talk to a lawyer and a prosecutor for his chances in the process.
