OnePlus might still be on its sophomore year in the smartphone arena, but it seems to be already taking the game seriously. The Chinese tech company is slated to announce another flagship killer -OnePlus 3 -which will boast the best technology available in the industry.
According to Vine Report, Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is serious about bringing the brand to the forefront of the tight tech market. Going up against the more established brands like Huawei and Xiaomi, OnePlus has been slowly paving its way to join in the mix through the releases of OnePlus One, Oneplus 2, OnePlus X; and now, the rumored OnePlus 3 is already in the pipeline.
The company's handset improvement is somewhat fast considering that the handheld devices it has released belong to one lineup. The OnePlus would have wanted to continue enhancing and topping the previously launched device for its successor to achieve its goals.
Meanwhile, International Business Times reported that the upcoming OnePlus 3 is similar to OnePlus 2 when it comes to design, but it doesn't have speakers on the rear portion. It is also reported that the device will sport a 1920x1080 pixel screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 64GB internal storage and 4 GB of RAM.
A designer named Hasan Kaymak's has showed a render of the device and claimed it would be featuring a 5.2-inch Quad-HD display. It is reportedly to be powered by a 4,000mAh capacity battery and run a Cyanogen OS, based on Android Marshmallow.
In related news, AndroidPIT stated on its article that for countless OnePlus forum members, the infamous invite-only system has been proven really frustrating for them. The Chinese tech company should be praised for manufacturing handsets that are getting the interest of the smartphone enthusiasts, but it's disappointing that customers need invites to have one on their hands.
OnePlus' founders, however, have already stated in the past that this strategy is to control the stocks of the devices. But in the ideal world, the company's patrons want to see OnePlus 3 on sale without the limited invitations.
Going back to the OnePlus 3 rumors, avid fans of the company have to take the specifications with a pinch of salt as OnePlus is yet to announce it.
