A deputy officer was shot while he was serving papers to a man in Alabama. Deputy officers were involved in a shootout last Wednesday night. The incident occurred at Ridge Avenue, Florence at around 6:30 pm when deputy Randall McCrary and two other officers were trying to serve commitment papers to a man named Timothy Vincent Murphy.
Four men, who are believed to be heroin dealers with ties to the Mexican cartel, were arrested at a New Jersey hotel. It is said to be one of the largest heroin busts in the history of New York.
Romania's parliament voted Wednesday to lift the immunity of a former minister so he can be investigated. The former minister was accused of abusing his position by allegedly using an official motorcade five times a day which he wasn't entitled to.
