The OnePlus X which is the current flagship smartphone of the Chinese tech giant is now obtainable even without the exclusive invites. This was recently announced by the company and the effectivity will be permanent.
According to Android Authority, the removal of the unpopular invite system was announced on Thursday, January 28. With this, consumers who want to purchase OnePlus X through OnePlus stores or Amazon doesn't need to have an invites anymore.This is really a great news for OnePlus patrons that are having a hard time getting ahold of the invitations.
Meanwhile, OnePlus introduced this kind of system which is needed to manage inventory and not expose the company to unnecessary risk. This invite system has been very unpopular since it first appeared. The OnePlus 2 went invite-free quite quickly after its release and now the OnePlus X has followed the trail.

The OnePlus X is engineered with 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. As for its camera, the OnePlus X is armed with a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter which is good for selfies.
This handset from OnePlus runs Android 5.1.1 and is powered by a 2,525mAh capacity non-removable battery. It measures 140.00 x 69.00 x 6.90 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 138.00 grams.
The OnePlus X is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts two Nano-SIM.
