'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' the actor Chris Pratt offered words of encouragement to fans on his Instagram account. He also admitted that his family always kept him grounded even through his success.
According to HitFix, Pratt is currently shooting two films back-to back in Pinewood Studios in Atlanta. He is set to return as Peter Quill a.k.a. Star-Lord in James Gunn's upcoming superhero sequel as well as involved with Morten Tyldum's science-fiction romance film 'Passengers' with Jennifer Lawrence.
He posted a long inspirational message for fans on his personal Instagram page after being at work for "over 77 hours". Despite doing marathon work, he continued to share his enthusiasm over his projects as well as the people he worked with.
His photograph showed the inside of a car driving through a freeway in Atlanta. Part of his caption read, "I'm overcome with joy and gratitude. I felt like posting this to say to anyone out there chasing your dream... Fifteen years ago I felt the same passion I feel today, but I had very little opportunity. I had to hustle hard and go hungry."
He added, "...And I never had a plan B. I never stopped believing. Ever. Don't give up. Apply constant pressure for as long as it takes. It will break before you do. Go get it."
Pratt began his acting career in television roles for 'Everwood' and 'Park and Recreation'. He eventually appeared in minor roles for big film productions including 'Wanted', 'The Five-Year Engagement', 'Zero Dark Thirty' and 'Her'. He rose to major Hollywood prominence with lead roles in 'Jurassic Park', Marvel's 'Guardians of the Galaxy' and 'The Lego Movie'.
According to E!, the 36-year old acknowledged his family's continued support for his career in show business. He said, "My brother is super supportive and always has been. He has hugely shaped who I am today... But it's an interesting situation because sometimes it's the people that are closest to you that it can be hardest on." He added that wisdom gained through experience helped him to keep the right perspective over success.
Meanwhile, director James Gunn confirmed that Star-Lord's father as well as the sequel's new villain has been cast but remained mum on further details. According to Den of Geek, 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' may begin filming in the next few weeks in time for the scheduled release on May 5, 2017.
