God of War 4 Rumors: Athena the next antagonist? Possible discussion of Kratos' return heard from Santa Monica Studios

By

As Santa Monica Studios' probable God of War 4 is still an idea that drives fans crazy, gamers are bound to hear from the developers on what will happen to the proposed title. Not much has been divulged in the past, but the persistence of the fans may just do the trick.

According to MNR Daily, one of the biggest concerns that the fans have been bringing up is the future plot of the story. Given that Kratos' perishing seemingly made the story come to an excruciating halt in the previous expansion, the debate has continued on what will be next for the series, especially who the protagonist will be.

Noted by Youth Health Mag, fans are still firm with their belief that Kratos will miraculously make his way back to the human world and journey once more to relinquishing the gods. Others claim, however, that a fresh new lead character will come forth to follow the adventure through, and Athena being the next antagonist to cause mayhem. Coming from the remastered God of War 3, Santa Monica Studios is still on the hot seat in terms of disclosing possible plots and characters for the proposed God of War 4.

Previous reports delivered that God of War 4 has not moved from the where it stands; an idea in the making. No word from Santa Monica Studios can be recalled in terms of creating the game, as well as a possible release date. Santa Monica Studios was speculated on spilling tiny whispers of Kratos respawning for a possible last time during their table discussions but all are mere rumors for the time being.

Santa Monica Studios continues to debunk any and all rumors about the fourth installment that is still known as God of War 4 as far as many are labelling it. Keep posted for official news from the development team of one of the most decorated PlayStation games in history.
