Verizon Wireless has agreed to settle with Federal Communications Commission over their privacy violation on the use of supercookies. The telecommunications giant will pay a fine of $1.35 million and must agree to a consent decree before sharing the supercookies.
Verizon will pay $1.35 million fine over its "supercookie" program. The company will also have to get an open answer of "yes" for some kinds of tracking.
Motorola DROID Turbo 2 devices under Verizon Wireless started receiving the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OTA update. Its new features include the Now on Tap,Doze Mode, App Standby, Storage tweaks and Attentive Display.
