Hurricane Sandy has left the New York City Subway system completely debilitated. Although, the bus services have resumed, all subway lines remain close leading to enormous traffic problems on the road. In a news conference on Wednesday, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that limited service for the Long Island Rail Road and Metro North would resume at 2:00 pm that afternoon.
Both defense and prosecution in the James Holmes shootout case requested that the names of victims be kept from public, but Judge William Sylvester over-ruled the requested and stated that the names of the victims will remain open to the public.
The family of Autumn Pasquale held a funeral for the 12-year-old girl whose body was discovered in a recycling bin in Clayton, New Jersey on Saturday. Family, friends and members of Clayton community attended the funeral of the girl and paid condolences to the family.
After Friday afternoon's court hearing in the Trayvon Martin murder case, Judge Debra Nelson said she will rule on prosecution's gag-order on Monday. Judge Nelson also set a court hearing in which defense George Zimmerman and his legal team will provide the court with evidence for the self-defense argument.
