Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro Could Be Launched Globally Despite China-Only Speculations

By

The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro could have a global launch after all despite early speculations that it will be within China only. It was spotted on several occasions, such as at the Wi-Fi certification site, which implies that it will arrive very soon.

Though the device was earlier leaked to be released together with Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro and Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro, it didn't happen at all. Still, the possibility of it being launched soon is not a hopeless cause.

On an earlier occasion, the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro was spotted to have a model number SM-C5010, which implies a China-only release. However, another leak was seen on the Wi-Fi Alliance which states that it has a SM-C501X label, Gadgets.NDTV reports. This gives clue that the original plan to launch the device only in China may have changed - just like the predecessors of the device which received global in the end.

However, it is not a guarantee that it will actually receive a global launch, but it is indeed a possibility. Still, a global launch would be more cost-effective and market friendly for Samsung. The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro will sport a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED display with full HD (1080p) resolution, thereby considering it as a phablet.

Aside from the screen features, the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro will flaunt a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, a 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory. There is a high possibility that it will allow memory expansion of up to 256GB via microSD.

The device will also have a 16 megapixel rear-facing camera possibly with autofocus and phase detection. The 16 megapixel front-facing camera will be a good companion for video calls and selfie-shots, as reported by PhoneArena. The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro will also come with an out-of-the box Android Marshmallow, possibly upgradable to Nougat anytime soon.
