The Oppo Find 9, expected to be launched by the second quarter of this year, is believed to have the Snapdragon 835, a 21MP/16MP camera, and a 4100 mAh battery. It will be sold for RMB 3,999 or around $580.
Oppo Find 9 will have a 5.5-inch 4K display screen AMOLED, a rare feature on a mobile phone today. The camera will be 21MP Dual LED/16MP in rear and front, with a smart stabilization technology that will give you crisp and professional shots, including clear selfies.
It will also have a 4100 mAh battery supporting VOOC flash charge technology - a perfect combination for a power-packed smartphone. A type-C connector can also be used for a better data transfer experience. Sporting the latest Snapdragon 835, a smaller but faster chip than its predecessors, the Oppo Find 9 gives a promise of fluid performance and better gaming and multimedia experience, Phoneradar reports.
Based on a number of rumors, the Find 9 may come in two different variants - a basic and a premium. The basic variant will have Snapdragon 653 and 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage. On the other hand, the premium variant will cater Snapdragon 835, a whopping 6GB ROM and 128GB RAM combined. Both variants may be expandable up to 256 GB.
Oppo has recently overtaken Apple in China sales as the F1 Plus also known as Oppo R9 has reportedly sold 17 million units compared to 12 million iPhone 6s units last year, according to GSMArena.
Aside from that, China shipments of Apple declined by 21 percent, while Oppo managed to have a 106 percent increase. Initially, the Find 9 was expected in 2016, but no release happened last year. Still, 2017 could be a hallmark year for Oppo's rise with the much-anticipated Find 9. Other China brands are expected to make waves for the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2017, but Xiaomi recently announced they will skip the event and will likely have their own launching after a few months.
