Panasonic is a Japanese company known for their home appliance line of products. They haven't made much noise in the smartphone business, but their new smartphone, Panasonic Eluga Prim, may have something to offer that is different from others.
The Eluga Prim is noticeably similar to an iPhone 6s because of the circular home button and the front panel design. The back panel is made of good plastic quality, described to have a fabric-like texture. The phone weighs 145g and is 7.55mm thick, according to LiveMint.
Its screen is a 5-inch HD display in low resolution. It runs in Android 6.0 Marshmallow with a simple customization by Panasonic. The home button has a fingerprint sensor which is quite laudable for an entry-level phone. The phone is powered by MediaTek's MT6735 quad-core processor running in 1.25 GHz and integrated Mali-T720 graphics. It has a 3GB RAM capacity with 16GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB via microSD. The battery has 2500mAh capacity without any fast-charging support.
Panasonic Eluga Prim's camera has a 13 megapixel rear sensor with autofocus and triple LED flash, while the front camera has 5 megapixel capacity. It also supports 4G and VoLTE that runs on dual standby.
