LG V10 Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update of AT&T & T-Mobile Expected Near after Verizon’s Release is Completed

LG V10 phone of Verizon has just got a sweet treat from the carrier as they were updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. With Verizon's move, AT&T and T-Mobile are expected to follow suit in the coming weeks as soon as Verizon completes the update.

LG V10 units of AT&T and T-Mobile are officially bound for the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update early in February. The update is expected to come when Verizon Wireless, the first mobile operator in the United States to roll out said update to the device, finishes off.

T-Mobile has just confirmed its V10 units for the update, as it recently posted the device on its Marshmallow priority list. AT&T, meanwhile, is reported to carry out Marshmallow release in the coming weeks. However, neither T-Mobile nor AT&T has anything official to say for now as to release date. Unlocked versions of V10 have already been updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

LG V10 is a 5.7-inch phone that has a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The front camera wears a 16 MP lens, while the rear camera has a pair of lens, each has 5 MP. The fingerprint sensor can be found right on the front camera. It runs with Snapdragon 808 processor, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage, micro SD slot, and a 3,000 mAh battery.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow will take with it bug fixes affecting Bluetooth, MMS, reboot, battery and Wi-Fi. Battery and MMS have are two of the most affected by threats.

The MMS, or picture messages, fails to send or to be received on time. All messaging apps are reportedly affected by the bug. In other cases, download and images section stopped working.

The battery stats on the settings menu allegedly consumes 20 percent of the batter itself. According to reports, this was caused by "logd" found on the stats. To solve this, disable activity logs by going to Settings > About phone > Disable "Activity logs". Also, try to check rogue apps on the settings menu. Last-ditch option is to factory reset the phone.
