Verizon Wireless is now reportedly starting to roll out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for LG G3 phones, as claimed by a Reddit user getting earlier today. The report was presented with a screen shot of the phone showing the current software info of the user.
LG G3 phones under Verizon Wireless are reportedly getting now the official over-the-air (OTA) update, as one Reddit member, named Jrdnram_98, claimed to have received it on his unit. The update comes with the build number MRA58K. Complete software info of the user's device is as follows:

The security patch level indicates that the January bug fix update for the device has also been rolled out along with the software.
In December last year, G3 units in Poland first received the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update followed by some units of G4, V10 and G Stylo in the United States pioneered by Sprint and US Cellular.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes with several new features and enhancements to apps and overall system performance. These are some of them:
- Doze Mode. This new feature screens phone and puts into a deep sleep when unused to prolong battery life.
- Now on Tap. Google Now get better function. Press holding the home button will show up Google Now and exhibits information based on current status or activity.
- Android Pay. By just a simple tap, bring up Android Pay and make purchases without the need to launch another app.
- Direct share. Share photos, links, news, files, etc. with selected contacts with ease and quickness.
- Simpler volume controls. Control ringtone and media volume spontaneously.
The Marshmallow is now on its first software version and is bringing a host of security patches, plus a new and updated set of 200 emojis.
