Avengers: Infinity War directors Anthony and Joe Russo have revealed that they will be using new camera hardware for the first time in the film. The Russo brothers said in an interview that Avengers: Infinity War will be shot entirely in IMAX and fans will not be disappointed.

Following Captain America: Civil War, which by the way is now Phase 3 in Marvel's Cinematic Universe, the Russo brothers are set to make history by being the first directors to shot two movies using IMAX cameras. The brothers were delighted with the results of the IMAX footage they shot for Civil War that they opted to apply such technique and technology in Avengers: Infinity War.

According to Inquisitr, the Russo brothers said it is their first time to use a new camera hardware. They mentioned that the scale format is very good in accommodating the taller characters for more 'appropriate storytelling.'

The brothers also mentioned that Avengers: Infinity War will feature a lot of big characters who are much taller than regular humans. They further discussed "When you have that beautiful IMAX top and bottom frame, it creates a much grander format for a movie like that to be viewed in." Many think that this could be another clue for Giant-Man's appearance.

Meanwhile, the new solid camera called Alexa 65 is used by Russo brothers. It offers a complete large-format solution for high-end theatrical motion pictures. The camera's system comprises a 65 mm digital cinema camera, custom-designed prime, and zoom lens, and fast, efficient workflow tools. The Alexa 65 is now in use worldwide and boasts on its stunning intensity and definition.

Anthony and Joe Russo say that the film Avengers: Infinity War will lean heavily on the large format picture to give fans an experience which they never had before and they can savor the movie's astounding quality not only in cinemas but also in their own home theaters. The Russo brother also told China's Sina that the thing that distinguishes movies right now is the widescreen format.

The brothers are confident that fans 'won't be disappointed' not only with the film's resolution but also with Avengers: Infinity War's extensive roster of characters. With all these new technology and big characters jumping on our screen, will it get any better? Tell us what you think of Avengers: Infinity War latest update?
