Lazaro Baez, the businessman who was suspected to be connected to the Argentine ex-presidents, Nestor Kirchner and Cristina Fernandez, has refused to testify in the court over the money laundering case filed against him. Baez was arrested on Tuesday.

Thabo Sefolosha, Atlanta Hawks guard-forward was acquitted from misdemeanor charges after a wrongful arrest last year. The stemmed from a police frasca outside a Manhattan nightclub.

The supposed third case on General Motors faulty ignition switch has been settled in court. Plaintiffs of the case alleged the motor company's faulty switch to be the cause of multiple injuries and deaths.
