‘Kong: Skull Island’ is an upcoming monster film directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts based on a screenplay by Max Borenstein, Derek Connolly, John Gatins and Dan Gilroy. The cast and crew headed to Vietnam for principal photography after filming in Australia and Hawaii. Vogt-Roberts was reportedly impressed with the country’s surreal landscape.
