Bill Cosby has again delayed trial proceedings of sexually assault charges through lodging appeal with the US Supreme Court. The comedy actor has been able to get commitment from the D.A. of Montgomery County for not prosecuting him back in 2005. He has been repeatedly trying to quash the habeas corpus writ by dint of the commitment from the former D.A.
Wendell Pierce, known for his role on HBO’s ‘The Wire’, was arrested at an Atlanta hotel for attacking a woman who was a vocal supporter of Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders. The actor, who is a Hilary Clinton supporter, was booked on the charge of simple battery on May 14 and was released on the same day after posting a $1,000 bond.

Hero Cycles Limited, the world’s largest bicycle manufacturer has sued Avon Cycles Limited over allegations of copyright infringement. Ignoring the outcome of an ongoing negotiation talks, Hero Cycles has filed the lawsuit with Ludhiana District Court. The trial court has summoned Avon Cycles to explain its position over the allegations on May 31.
