The drifter, Caleb Lawrence McGillvary, better known as Kai, who became an Internet sensation just a couple months ago after a bizarre incident in Fresno, California when he used a hatchet to "save" someone who had just crashed into him, has been arrested. New Jersey police said that Kai is responsible for a deadly beating of a New Jersey lawyer.
Attorneys for Jodi Arias asked to step down from the case after their client was convicted of first -degree murder, but a judge denied the request. Attorneys Kirk Nurmi and Jennifer Willmott reportedly asked a judge for permission to withdraw from the case, but were denied.
