Harry Morel, a former Louisiana district attorney pleaded guilty to one charge of obstraction of justice. Morel was investigated for sexual abused of at least 20 women, whom solicited for sex in exchange for legal help.
The Louisiana House has voted on Wednesday to triple the wait time for women seeking abortion, bringing it to a total of 72 hours or three days from the previous 24-hour period. Louisiana could be the sixth state to have the longest waiting periods nationwide.
