Disney has officially green lit the upcoming adventure flick Indiana Jones 5. Franchise star Harrison Ford is interested and excited to reprise the titular character, while director Steven Spielberg has officially tapped David Koepp to write the upcoming film.
‘Indiana Jones 5’ is a planned sequel to 2008’s ‘Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull’ starring Harrison Ford in the lead role. Steven Spielberg returns for the fifth installment in the series, with David Koepp returning to pen the new screenplay. News of Koepp’s enlistment caused controversy among long-time fans of the series with some saying that his involvement will turn the new film into a disaster.
Indiana Jones' actor John Rhys-Davis revealed his interest to return as Sallah in the fifth installment. He has also disclosed why he wasn't in the franchise's 2008 film.
