Former Jay Z protege Wais P has pleaded guilty to a drunken driving charge. He entered the plea Monday in Manhattan Supreme Court. The 42-year-old rapper could be sentenced to time served.
The Supreme Court questioned on Wednesday the drunken driving laws in 12 states. It expressed doubt whether the crime of refusing to take an alcohol test violates the constitutional right of the person. Judges try to reach middle ground but majority are leaning against the states.
Sister Kimberly Miller, was found guilty to DUI charge over after she was arrested for drunk driving. She claimed she "sleep driving" because of a medication she took along with several glasses of wine.
