Jamaica’s runner Usain Bolt defied time when he won the men’s 100 meters final in a record winning run of 9.63 seconds (Second fastest in the world)at the London Olympics 2012, NBC refrained from airing it live. Instead, the broadcast network aired it on the prime-time television slot.
At a fundraiser in Idaho, famous actor-director-producer Clint Eastwood showed up to support presumed Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Eastwood, a Republican, also supported President Obama’s republican rival John McCain in the 2008 Presidential Elections.
The gunman in the Sikh Temple shooting on Sunday, which claimed the lives of seven including the shooter, has been identified as Wade Michael Page. There is no official confirmation from the police or FBI on the identification, but according to Fox News, the 40-year-old Page is a former US Military veteran.
On Sunday, another shooter opened fire in a packed space of people. This time it was a Sikh temple in Oak Creek Wisconsin. The gunman killed at least six people. According to police reports the alleged killer was shot on the spot by police force.
