The disclosure to Congress comes before the president is due to make a major national security speech, with plans to pledge more transparency to Congress in his counter-terrorism policy.
An Islamist suspect reportedly ran over a British solider with a car in broad daylight, and then two attackers hacked him to death, dumping his body in the middle of the road in southeast London. The victim, dressed in what authorities said was a T-shirt for Help for Heroes, a charity that helps military veterans. The attackers then picked up a camera. "We swear by almighty Allah we will never stop fighting you until you leave us alone," said a meat cleaver-male with bloody hands. "The only reasons we killed this man is because Muslims are dying daily. This British soldier is an eye for an eye a tooth for tooth," he said.
Christine Prody, the ex girlfriend to O.J. Simpson for 13 years, even as her family members questioned why she would date a man many still believe killed his ex wife and her friend, ABC News reported. She tells ABC News that she believes that Simpson killed Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman in 1994, a belief based on comments Simpson made to her during their relationship.
Two men attacked another man and killed him in a machete attack near a military barracks in southeast London. The British government is the treating the incident as terrorism. The two men, who first gloated about the attack, were shot by officers in a busy London street. The man killed is believed to be a British solider.
