The U.S. economy added 148,000 jobs in September as the unemployment rate dropped to 7.2 percent. A new jobs report for September released on Tuesday "showed the economic recovery continues to be sluggish and many economists warn that the constant fiscal fights in Washington only threaten to make the situation worse," Politico reported.

Cee Lo Green, the singer famous for hit songs "Forget You" and "Crazy"and coach of NBC's "The Voice, pleaded not guilty to a felony charge for slipping the drug Ecstasy to a woman during dinner, as reported by CNN. Green, however, will not face sexual assault charges after prosecutors concluded there was not enough evidence to take the accusation by the same woman to court
