The removal petition against Dallas County District Attorney Susan Hawk was dismissed, apparenlty because of anti-discrimination against people with disabilities. The ruling court determined that Hawk's acknowledgement of her depression and her willingness to seek treatment made her fit to continue serving in public office.
The Kanawha County Commission has filed a lawsuit against several companies in regards to the 2014 water crisis. The lawsuit was filed Friday against West Virginia American Water Company, Eastman Chemical Company, and certain Freedom Industries Executives.
The two prime suspects for British national Dominic Bernard's murder case -22-year-old Aaron Hing and Staymon George, 23, – were arrested after a badly decomposed body was discovered by investigators in a shallow grave in Berbice on Friday.
