ACLU and three residents of Ferguson have filed a case to seek a change in the voting system for the school board elections which reportedly undermines the voting power of African-American residents.

Three people have been arrested in connection with the killing of a Syrian journalist in southern Turkey. Naji al-Jarf, the editor of Syrian pro-opposition magazine Hinta, died after being shot in the street in the city of Gaziantep in December.

US tech giants including Google, Miscrosoft, Facebook, Yahoo, and Twitter have jointly urge the UK government to reconsider its new digital surveillance law. The firms say they reject the bill that would require weaker encryption for the spying action.
