It's a rare occasion that a U.S. company wins favorably in China. With much luck on its side, Facebook was favored by Chinese court over a trademark dispute. It ordered Zhujiang Beverage to stop using 'face book" as its trademark.

Air New Zealand agreed to pay $35 million ($A47.47 million) to settle its lawsuit case in the United States. The lawsuit alleges the national carrier of New Zealand took part of the alleged cartel fix freight air cargo fuel and security surcharges.

Facebook requested a judge to dismiss a privacy lawsuit case filed by a group of Illinois Facebook users against them. The group claimed it the social networking giant violated the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act.
