After the airing of "Witches of East End" Season 2, Episode 4 entitled "Brothers Grimoire," a lot of questions have been left unanswered, especially with the show's one-week hiatus: Is Frederick really on the Beauchamp's side now? Can Dash handle too much power? What is Ingrid's real relationship with Madragora, the blue creature? As the show's episode 5 is scheduled to air only one day from now, avid followers may finally find answers to these questions.

The fifth episode of Lifetime's magical drama series will now feature the story behind the mystical blue creature Mandragora and his effects on every character of East End, Movie News Guide reported. It could be recalled in the previous episodes that Mandragora has been seen feeding on Ingrid (Rachel Boston), who is apparently clueless about her symbiotic relationship with the monster. Aside from the eldest of the Beauchamp siblings, the mysterious entity has also been seen victimizing other citizens of East End.

The upcoming episode will finally shed some light about the real connection between Ingrid and Mandragora. The Beauchamp matriarch Joanna (Julia Osmond) will also be shocked after finding out Ingrid's relationship with Mandragora and his effect on her daughter.

Episode 5 will also reveal a new addition to the characters, told International Business Times. "Law and Order" actress Michelle Hurd will take the significant role of Alex, who will help the Beauchamp family in solving the mysteries of the unlocked portal to Asghard.

Meanwhile, as reported in our previous article, Freya (Jenna Dewan - Tatum) is set to go back in time through a flashback, returning to her one of her past lives with estranged lover Killian (Daniel DiTomasso).

Citing reports from the 2014 ATX Festival, International Business Time said in another report that "WOEE" creator Maggie Friedman had previously hinted about "cool" flashbacks that could be expected in the show's current season.

"We have some really cool flashbacks to the 1600s," Friedman said.

On the same event, showrunner Richard Hatem also dished out clues about Freya's journey back in time.

"One of those flashbacks is from the 1970s ... there I said it! It's our 'American Hustle' episode. Hair, mustaches and bell bottoms," Hatem said.

"Witches of East End" Season 2, Episode 5 will premiere on August 10th, Sunday, exclusively on Lifetime.
