Amidst pregnancy, celebrity couple Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are once again facing another separation issue. Citing reports from The Enquirer, Perez Hilton revealed that Gosling was actually surprised about Mendes's pregnancy, making him feel "trapped" in the relationship.
The insider of the tabloid claimed that "The Notebook" actor was taken aback by the pregnancy, following their alleged separation early this year.
"Ryan was surprised, especially because they had broken up early last year, only to get back together," said the source.
The insider also told that the reason behind the couple's rumoured separation was Mendes's desire to settle down with Gosling, in which the actor is not yet prepared for, despite their three-year relationship
"The disagreements always came back to a central issue. Eva wants to marry Ryan, but so far, he has resisted," the source added.
However, a report from The Inquistir opposes the split rumors between the couple and suggests that Gosling and Mendes are in fact planning to have a secret wedding and that they emphasized on keeping it "low key." The website cited a source from The Belfast Telgraph saying:
"The one thing they agree on is there'll be NO guests. Ryan can't stand big parties and wants it to be kept under wraps between Eva and him. Eva loved how Megan Fox did her wedding in 2010 - with no one but [husband] Brian [Austin Green's] son and the pastor there, so she's got the same thing in mind. She knows it could upset her family, but she doesn't care. She's marrying the man of her dreams and, if that's the only way he'll agree to it, then fine."
Meanwhile, amid all rumors, the 40-year-old actress has been veering away from all the issues by taking everything easy in order to avoid stress, especially now that she's on the final weeks of her pregnancy, told The Inquistir in another article.
"Eva is constantly tired. All she wants to do is rest, so she's following her own instincts - as well as expert advice - and spending most of her time in bed, which she intends to do until the baby arrives," the source noted.
