When one thinks of clashes, several things come to mind. Mike Tyson versus Evander Holyfield, Microsoft versus Apple and DC versus Marvel are but a few clashes that come to mind. It's the ability to have two things meet head to head in a one-on-one battle, and it's been sweeping the internet and the minds of fans all over the world for years. It's no surprise that gaming can be held accountable for the same types of fantasies.
Even till this day, fantasies and dreams of two heavy weight representatives of games are imagined, and there are some places over the internet that, based on fan appreciation, find a way to make things come true. Mario versus Sonic, Street Fighter versus Tekken, these are the types of things that gamers all over the world dream of and pine for. When Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes came out almost ten years ago, the arcade scene lit up. Gamers worldwide scrambled to play such a game, and now, almost ten years later, fans young and old will have another chance to play the latest installment of the franchise.
According to Game Spot, a release of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom will be available on Xbox One and PC on March 7, this of course following the release of the game on the PS4 last December. The digital release of the game will not be much, and since it is considered an "Ultimate", it will most likely have the same things included in the PS3 and the most recent PS4 release, including many characters and a lot of the DLC, which means no need for anymore microtransactions that will require us to make any additional purchases to the game via the use of the Playstation Network (PSN).
While the digital purchase for the game will be $24.99, there will, in fact, be physical copies of the game, and it will have a $5 extra charge, as stated by Polygon. What makes it different, however, aside from the fact that it's a physical copy you can hold in your hands, is the pleasant knowledge of knowing this is a "limited edition" version, are what's added to it. With your physical copy, you also get a nice 10-page comic, updated cover art, and original art from Marvel artists Sean Chen (Iron Man, Nova) and Gerardo Sandoval (Venom, The New Avengers). If you've been aching to get your hands on this title, now is a better time than ever.
