For a great deal of people, vide games have always held a special place in our hearts. Whether it's an adventure game or an RPG, video games attract a huge demographic of people, inspiring those who have never played them before and those who have played them their entire lives. They've gone through a vast amount of changes and forms of evolution over the years, from pixelated 8-bit graphics to smooth polygons and shapes in 4k resolution and 1080p. Yet despite all their various forms and appearances, there always remains one sole element that rings throughout the ears of the players: competition. It brings out the best in most of us and inspires us to better ourselves, and this too is followed in video games. Out of all the competitive video games to ever exist in the genre, one stands out as one of the most competitive titles out there: Tekken
Many of us have heard the name Tekken before as it just so happens to stand next to the equally, if not more popular, Street Fighter franchise. And yet Street Fighter has already had a great deal of its exposure and updates with the most recent installation of its franchise, Street Fighter V. Many are beginning to wonder about the release of Tekken's new installment, Tekken 7. What instills concern in its fan base is that it still has not received an official release date. There is a ray of light, however, as Mic.com states that Bandai Namco, the company acting as Tekken's developer publisher, has announced that the game will receive its official launch in the early quarter of 2017.
With all the hype that came from its original teasers a year or two ago, Inquirer.net has already noted some details that many have already searched for aside from the release date. The game will be selling at the price of $59.99 according to Steam, and though Steam states that the date for its release will be March 31 of 2017, this date is subject to change over the course of time and is tentative at best. The game will also include a roster of 30+ characters, including one that will be making an appearance from its competitive rival, Street Fighter. Since the early quarter of 2017 has just started, fans of the Tekken franchise all over are clamoring for its official release, and the tides of competition will swell once more.
