Although Apple Inc. will be holding an event this month highlighting the iPhone 5se, many iPhone fans are still looking forward to the release of the iPhone 7. Recently, another leak has surfaced revealing that the smartphone will be sporting a sleeker design, larger camera and redesigned antenna bands.
According to Times of India, the French website NoWhereElse got an access with the alleged technical drawings of iPhone 7 and based on the leaked images, this upcoming iPhone has a redesigned rear case without the rubber-like antenna bands that are currently present with the iPhone 6/6s models. The antenna bands are said to help network signals pass through the smartphone's aluminum bodies. For the iPhone 7, Apple has reportedly created a new type of smart material that eliminates the need for these rubber stripes.
The photos also reveal a camera upgrade. The enhancement for the camera is very much expected, and based on the image, the iPhone 7 will have a significantly bigger camera module than the one on iPhone 6 and 6s. This means that the camera on the upcoming iPhone series may protrude less than the current camera.
Aside from that, Indian Express added that Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed the new iPhone 7 Plus to arrive featuring a dual camera set-up. Ming's note said that Apple got the technology with its purchase of LinX, an Israeli firm that specializes in the field.
Moreover, All India Roundup added that the iPhone 7 will have sleeker design. Even though the dimensions were not revealed in the leaked image, leakster Steve Hemmerstoffer stated that the iPhone 7 schematics are marginally sleeker than the predecessors. This is because the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus versions were truly fractionally thicker than the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
The ever-sleeker smartphones have started to aggravate customers who'd rather have manufacturers converged on practicalities like larger batteries. Samsung ultimately accepted this as it produces the superb Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. So, if Apple does not do the same, it could justify an unsure move.
While the iPhone 7 launch is still months away, Apple Inc. will be holding its first event this year on March 21. During the said occasion ,the Cupertino-based company will be showcasing its 9.7-inch iPad Pro, iPhone 5se, Apple Watch Bands and software updates.
