Apple's upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 has been in the rumors mill for a while now. New reports suggest that the Pro 2016 will make its appearance along with the forthcoming 9.7-inch iPado Pr and iPhone 5se during the American tech giant's March 21 event.

According to Yibada, the Cupertino-based company has started sending media invites for its event to be held on March 21, 2016. There are chances that the tech company will launch MacBook Pro 2016 during the said event since Apple Inc. usually releases new laptops at the same time of the year.

The March 21 event of the company will reportedly focus on the iPhone SE and iPad Air 3. But several talks suggest it is possible that a separate Mac event will be organized by the software company. Nevertheless, a lot of tech experts still believe that Apple will announce the new MacBook Pro during the upcoming event.

Meanwhile, Parent Herald stated that Apple's rivals, which include Microsoft, Dell and HP, have already moved to Skylake processors. In line with this, the new MacBook Pro 2016 is likely to feature the sixth generation Intel Skylake processors. Skylake chips will make the new MacBook Pro a faster machine, bringing significant performance gains.

The Skylake processor is expected to be paired with the El Capitan operating system and it is anticipated to improve device's efficiency and battery life. Tech enthusiasts expect that the new MacBook Pro will have a longer battery life to match the performance offered by the MacBook Air.

Aside from that, BREATHEcast noted that the MacBook Pro 2016 might have a 13-inch variant as well, which features a retina display. It was also reported that the device has a 2.7 to 2.9 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 Processor, which depends on the internal storage options, available as 128 GB, 256 GB, or 512 GB. An 8GB 1866MHz LPDDR3 memory, Intel Iris Graphics 6100, built-in battery that can last up to 10 hours, and a Force Touch trackpad are also expected from the upcoming product.

On the other hand, for the MacBook users who prefer a larger screen size, Apple is also bound to release a 15-inch variant with retina display. It features a 2.2GHz to 2.5 GHz processor, depending if the variant has 256GB or 512GB storage.

The 15-inch MacBook Pro 2016 also has a 16GB 1600MHz memory, Turbo Boost of up to 3.4GHz, built-in battery of up to nine hours, and a Force Touch trackpad. The 256GB variant also features an Intel Iris Pro Graphics while the 512GB variant is armed with AMD Radeo R9 M370X with 2GB GDDR5 memory.

As for the pricing, there are still no available details yet, but with its release that is just a week away, Apple will surely give concrete information about MacBook Pro 2016 soon.
