By

CBS head Nina Tassler admitted during her recent interview that the network is still unsure if "Person of Interest" Season 5 will be its final season or not. However, the ongoing online petition via change.org has been noticed by other networks and Netflix is reported to be interested in picking up the series for its 6th season. Also, rumors have surfaced that former CIA Agent John Reese will fall in love with his psychiatrist Doctor Iris Campbell.

CBS Network head Nina Tassler admitted during her recent interview about whether "Person of Interest" will still continue after season 5 or not. Tassler said, "We haven't determined that yet. The show's in production now and will be coming on later this season, but we haven't determined if it's the end of the series yet.", Ecumenical News has cited.

With that being said, an online petition via change.org named as "Save Person of Interest" currently garners fans to convince CBS and other networks to renew the show for a 6th installment. The signature campaign has been made noticed by other major TV networks like Warner Brothers, Netflix, NBC, FOX, The CW, and Hulu. And according to Youth Health Mag, Netflix is interested in picking up the show.

Other than that, rumor has it that in the upcoming "Person of Interest" Season 5, former CIA Agent John Reese (Jim Caviezel) still carries a lot of heavy burdens on his shoulder which include his regret and mourning over NYPD police officer Jocelyn "Joss" Carter (Taraji P. Henson) death. During his depressing times of consecutively losing his significant others like Jessica Arndt (Susan Misner) then Jocelyn, Reese will suddenly fall in love with his psychiatrist doctor Iris Campbell (Wrenn Schmidt), Movie News Guide has reported.

As of now, the official scheduled launch of "Person of Interest" Season 5 has not been announced by the executive producers and CBS just yet. However, speculations suggest that the much-awaited series may return sometime in May 2016.

"Person of Interest" is an American science fiction crime drama TV series created by Jonathan Nolan.
