Emily Swallow's Amara aka The Darkness returns to continue with her sinister plan of annihilating the world while Robert Benedict returns to reprise his role as Dean and Sam's powerful prophet, Chuck in "Supernatural" Season 11. Also, the official plot description of the upcoming episode 16 'Safe House' has been released by The CW.
Amara and her alter ego The Darkness (Emily Swallow) is coming back to the Eric Kripke-created series. Yibada reports that The Darkness returns to the scene in episode 16 to move forward with her sinister plan of annihilating the world.
In addition, cast member Robert Benedict officially signs in to return to "Supernatural" Season 11. According to TV Line, the 45-year-old American stage, film, and TV actor will reprise the fan-favorite role of Chuck Shurley. Shurley happens to be Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester's (Jensen Ackles) powerful prophet friend, he was first introduced last season 10 during the 200th milestone of the show. However, the episode where Benedict will reappear has not been announced just yet.
As for the official plot synopsis of episode 16, Spoilers Guide notes, "A dangerous creature is accidentally released into an old house, attacking a mother and her child, leaving them both in a coma. Sam and Dean learn that Bobby Singer (guest star Jim Beaver) and Rufus Turner (guest star Steven Williams) once tracked the same entity so the Winchesters look to the past to come up with a plan to catch the monster before any one dies."
