'The Blacklist' Season 3 returns April 7: Lance Henriksen confirms return as The Major

Lance Henriksen officially returns in "The Blacklist" Season 3 to reprise his role as Tom's former spy trainer and handler. Also, NBC has released the official plot description of the upcoming episode 17 'Mr. Solomon' and the previous episode 16 'The Caretaker' is provided here for fans who have missed to watch it.

Lance Henriksen officially signs in to return to "The Blacklist" Season 3. According to Entertainment Weekly, the 75-year-old American actor and artist will reprise his role as ex-spy Tom (Ryan Eggold) former black market spy trainer and handler, The Major.

Henriksen's character comes back to continue his unfinished business which may put the future of Tom's relationship with Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone) in some serious danger. However, further details and information about The Major's reappearance in the Jon Bokenkamp-created series has not been announced just yet.

Other than that, the official spoilers and plot synopsis for the upcoming episode of "The Blacklist" Season 3 has not been released by CBS just yet. The upcoming episode 17 "Mr. Solomon" which was slated to air last Thursday, March 3 has been postponed for April airing instead. This is because the show has decided to take a month-long hiatus which will last for a couple of weeks, Hollywood Hills has cited.

For a quick recap of "The Blacklist" Season 3 Episode 16 "The Caretaker" The Wall Street Journal reported that, Raymond "Red" Reddington (James Spader) and Liz worked on the murder case of a State Department Official in Beijing to a caretaker who guards a safety deposit vault for criminals, Liz also searched for more information about her mother; Tom moves with a risky decision.

"The Blacklist" Season 3 Episode 17 is entitled as "Mr. Solomon". The series is scheduled to return with its newest episode on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. exclusively on NBC.
