Marvel's most fan-favorite X-Men member, Logan, is coming back for a third installment titled "The Wolverine 3". To excite fans, Liev Schreiber talked about the film and his thoughts on returning. Meanwhile, a working title has circulated online.

According to We Got This Covered, during Oscars night, Liev Schreiber was faced with questions regarding the upcoming sequel and he confirmed that he, indeed, talked with Hugh Jackman regarding the movie. "We talked about it. I don't know. He's mentioned it to me," he said. "The Old Man Logan story - that's appealing. That's something that I can do. Old, being the operative word." While this may be an indication of his character's return, the actor did not mention any direct confirmation of his comeback.

Furthermore, Inquisitr thinks that the Old Man Logan plotline would be a source material for the film which was suggested to have an R-rating. The graphical novel, which was written by Mark Millar of "Kick-Ass", "Wanted" and "Civil War," is anticipated to expose violence and slaughter. Also, there are reports involving other Marvel characters to show up in the third installment such as Bruce Banner, Red Skull and Hawkeye.

On the progress of production, NOLA wrote that Hugh Jackman's "The Wolverine 3" is prepping up to shoot in New Orleans. The project team has been scouting the town for several weeks now as the untitled film is scheduled to start shooting in May. However, the locale is still not confirmed as the production team hadn't filed a paper work yet with the state.

"At this time, my office has not received an application for this project and I can neither confirm nor deny that 'Wolverine 3' is going to shoot in Louisiana," Louisiana Entertainment executive director, Chris Stelly, said.

'Juarez' is currently the working title of the third installment of "The Wolverine".

"The Wolverine 3" follows the first two installments "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" and "The Wolverine" which premiered on 2009 and 2013, respectively. The upcoming film is set to be directed by James Mangold and follow the notable "Old Man Logan" arc. "The Wolverine 3" is set to hit theaters on March 2, 2017.
