‘Justice League' Part 1’ Update: Henry Cavill on the superhero film's script; 'Mad Max' director George Miller to produce?

By

DC is on a shooting-spree as it is slated to release a film every year, including the Justice League Part 1 in 2018. To whet the fans' appetite, Henry Cavill recently talked about the script of the upcoming superhero flick. Moreover, director George Miller of Mad Max: Fury Road is reportedly producing the movie.

Henry Cavill, also known as Superman in 2013's Man of Steel, talked about the upcoming Justice League: Part One. According to Movie Web, the actor revealed he has already read the manuscript for the film but he's keen on keeping the details unapprehended. Cavill said "I have. I can tell you nothing. We're talking about Justice League here, so the DC Cinematic Universe is finally getting its chance to really grow in this one. I think all of the characters are fantastic, and I'm looking forward to being a part of that whole gig."

Meanwhile, Screen Crush wrote that George Miller's name went near the film as he's being listed as one of its producers. The new casting call for the film listed the formal credits and George Miller was seen joining the Batman V Superman helmers Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder. It should make sense knowing that George Miller was keen to do the Justice League movie years ago.

In 2008, Miller had everything he's going to need for the film, including the entire cast, but the project was canceled due to writers' strike. The film went dormant until the emergence of Zack Snyder's film project.

In related news, Superman Supersite has reported that casting calls have already been announced for the Justice League Part 1. Acting-Auditions.org posted details for those who want to be part of the massive DC universe as supporting actors and extras. The working title of the film is "Caveman" and is looking for several actors, male and female, and of any age. Start of shooting is on April 11 and will take place at Warner Bros. Studio at Leavesden, near central London in Watford.

Justice League Part 1 will see the gathering of different superheroes from DC comics including Batman, Superman, Aquaman, Wonderwoman, The Flash, Green Lantern and a few more unannounced heroes. Justice League Part One comes to theaters on November 17, 2017 while the latest DC film, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice premiers on March 25, 2016.
